Beneeta’s COVID Relief Fundraiser

We came into the board game industry because we (Schoon)liked playing games. We have stayed in this industry because of the people. I know this like is completely cliche to say, but it is so so true.

The most recent big example of the awesomeness is the fact that in four days, on May 2nd Beneeta was able to pull together a fundraiser that raised over $17,000 for COVID releif in India. Beneeta and AnnaMaria did an amazing job of playing off each other and enabling the funds to keep coming in. It was so fun to see them having a good time, and that pushed the twitch audience to participate and get fully invested in what was happening.

The even bigger part that was epic was how the industry came together to put all our force behind this event. Beneeta had multiple steam codes, over 50 physical copies of games, plus 8 grand finale giveaways! Not to mention the random auctions that spontaneously happened during the event. Multiple people offered during the stream to make items that hadn't been planned. AnnaMaria will be painting for weeks, and those paintings will include everything from fruit to Kai's butt.

Just because Beneeta's twitch stream is over doesn't mean that the giving has to be.
